How VendorCosts estimates service costs
VendorCosts is a budgeting tool, not a quotation service. We favour transparent assumptions over false precision.
Baseline ranges
Each guide starts with a broad planning range intended to represent a plausible small-to-mid-market engagement. These are editorial planning estimates and are not claimed to be statistically representative market averages.
Calculator adjustments
Calculators apply simple multipliers for organisation size and project complexity. They help users explore how scope can move a budget; they do not reproduce any individual provider’s pricing model.
Updates
Guides display a current-year label and should be reviewed periodically. As VendorCosts receives real quotes and buyer submissions, anonymised observations may inform future editorial updates.
Commercial independence
Providers may eventually pay for qualified introductions or sponsorship. Payment does not buy the right to alter VendorCosts editorial planning ranges or methodology.
Use of estimates
Always validate a budget with current written quotes and a defined scope. Taxes, licences, travel, third-party fees and geography can materially change total cost.
